Miercuri, 15 ianuarie 2020, ora 17:00 la Muzeul Național al Unirii Alba Iulia, va avea loc vernisajul expoziției Paradis.
”The exhibition „Paradise”, opening at the Union National Museum from Alba Iulia, on the 15 of January 2020, brings in front of the public no more than 200 painted plates. The plates were made at the ceramic factories Apulum and IPEC, from Alba Iulia, and were painted by artists, students and professors from France, Germany and Romania.
The exhibition was made possible by the support of the University „1 December 1918” from Alba Iulia and the Alba County Council and it is the result of an international workshop that took place in the month of October 2019 at Alba Iulia.
This stage of the workshop is part of an extensive international project –
„European Ceramic Art Schools Project 2018 – 2020”, a collaboration between the Ceramic Departments of four European Art Universities: École Nationale Supérieure d’Art et de Design de Nancy, France, Muthesius Kunsthochschule, Germany, University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca, Romania, École Supérieure d’Art et de Design – Talm Le Mans, France. The whole project is made possible by the support of the Center for Contemporary Art Vent des Forêts, France.
On the 15 of January 2020 there will also be a meeting between students and teachers of the University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca and those of the University „1 December 1918” Alba Iulia, for a exploratory workshop on various themes from social, ethnographical to anthropological and artistic in connection to the concept of Paradise.”
